In the spirit of collectively stepping up our influence to create a better future for all, Dubai Women Establishment is proud to host the second edition of the Global Women’s Forum Dubai (GWFD) on the 16th and 17th of February, 2020, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
Building on the theme ‘The Power of Influence’, the GWFD 2020 offers a global platform to influence policies and foster partnerships that further women’s positive impact. The Forum discussions will inspire dialogues on the role of women across four main areas: government, economy, society, and future. The Forum will engage over 3,000 attendees, including global leaders, experts, academics, entrepreneurs and students.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is the Global Knowledge Partner of the GWFD 2020. This partnership will spearhead positive dialogue on best practices related to global gender-friendly policies. Alongside the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi), DWE is also co-organising the We-Fi MENA Regional Summit – a side-line event that will host entrepreneurs from the region’s emerging economies.
